Dr. Bybee is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Utah College of Nursing. Her program of research focuses on the structural determinants of health affecting historically underserved and marginalized groups in the context of chronic illness, hospice, palliative, and end-of-life care. As a licensed clinical social worker, Dr. Bybee aims to conduct research that will ultimately improve the health and wellbeing of historically minoritized populations, such as sexual and gender minority older adults and Hispanic/Latino populations. In her free time, she enjoys running, biking, hiking, cooking, baking, reading novels, speaking Spanish, and playing with dogs.
