Linda Johansson is an associate professor with a PhD in nursing. She is the acting associate dean of research and manager of the research environment Studies of Integrated Health and Welfare (SIHW) at School of Health and Welfare, Jönköping University (JU) as well as senior lecturer at the Institute of gerontology, JU. Since 2024 Linda is one of the two Swdish representatives in the management committee for the Ethics in Dementia (EDEM) European COST Action network.
Lindas research focusing on gerontological nursing with special interest in areas such as care, support and ethical issues regarding persons with cognitive imperment (including persons with young onset dementia), coercion, restraints and elder abuse as well as preventive care for older persons in the areas of nutrition, falls, pressure ulcers, oral health and medication.
