John Shean, MPH, is the Director of the Healthy Brain Initiative for the Alzheimer’s Association national office. He is responsible for advancing the Association’s nationwide data efforts, enhancing professional understanding of Alzheimer’s issues, and advancing the ability of state and local governmental public health agencies to address Alzheimer’s from a population perspective. John has helped expand the Healthy Brain Initiative – a public-private effort aimed at making cognitive health an integral part of public health. He earned his master’s degree in public health from the George Washington University.
