Dr. Chantelle Zimmer is the Manager of the Brenda Strafford Centre on Aging at the University of Calgary. She has multidisciplinary training in the social and health sciences. Her primary research interests are improving the social participation, social inclusion, health, and well-being of equity deserving populations. Most of Chantelle’s work with older adults is focused on age-friendly communities, age-friendly universities, and healthy aging. Chantelle holds an Adjunct Assistant Professor appointment in the Faculty of Kinesiology.
