Dr. Frances M. Hawes is an Assistant Professor in the Health Care Administration Program at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, a program that educates future leaders in senior care. She earned her MS and Ph.D. in Gerontology from the University of Massachusetts-Boston and has over 15 years of experience in the long-term care field. Her research areas include long-term care policy, workforce issues, quality, and leadership in long-term care. She is also a certified grief support specialist.
