Dr. Jiang is an Associate Professor at the Institute for Hospital Management, Tsinghua University School of Medicine, with concurrent appointments at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and Beijing Tsinghua Chunggeng Hospital as adjunct associate professor. Her research focuses on enhancing the mental and cognitive health of older adults, with a particular emphasis on preventing cognitive impairment. Her work spans three key areas: (1) understanding the dementia ecosystem, (2) promoting psychological well-being for older adults and their caregivers, and (3) developing effective prevention, early intervention, and care management strategies for cognitive impairment. Dr. Jiang is at the forefront of exploring digital health solutions and scalable approaches to improve cognitive and mental health outcomes while supporting family caregivers. She is dedicated to educating the next generation of healthcare professionals through teaching comparative healthcare systems and social gerontology. Dr. Jiang’s contributions to the field of gerontology have been recognized with prestigious awards including the Young Talent Award from the Ministry of Education PRC (2024) and the ODPRT Grant for Research Excellence from the National University of Singapore (2022), Association for Gerontology Education in Social Work Pre-Dissertation Award (2015).
