Kyungmin Kim, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Child Development and Family Studies at Seoul National University. Her research centers on intergenerational relations in later life, family caregiving, temporal dynamics of intergenerational relations, and cultural contexts contributing to variations in family ties. To better understand the complexity of intergenerational relations within families and the implications for individual health and well-being, her research has used advanced quantitative methods across levels of analysis, including various group levels (e.g., individual, dyad, family, and culture/society) and time levels (e.g., daily and short/long term interval).
