Lesley Steinman, PhD, MSW, MPH (she/her) is a research scientist in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health at the University of Washington School of Public Health. Lesley is a proud social worker, community-engaged, mixed methods, health services researcher/implementation scientist, trainer, practice coach, supervisor, and mentor. She partners with community-based social service organizations on research and practice to integrate brief psychosocial interventions into routine service delivery to improve older adult mental health equity. Her other passions are hiking, plunging and spending time outdoors with her beautiful family in the Pacific Northwest. She received her BA in sociology from Boston College and her MSW, MPH and PhD from the University of Washington.
