Junyan Tian is a Ph.D. candidate in Human Development and Family Studies at Pennsylvania State University. She holds an M.S. in the same field from Penn State and an M.S.Ed. in Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Development from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focused on the intersection of aging, mobility, cognition and well-being, with a strong interest in understanding older adults’ experiences in their living environments. She has presented her research at GSA several times. She would like to apply her knowledge to improve older adults’ daily living experience, especially focusing on older adults’ mobility and leisure constraints.
