Debra Dobbs, PhD, is a Professor and Director of School of Aging Studies, University of South Florida. She is also the Director of the PhD Program in Aging Studies and the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Applied Gerontology. Her research is related to assisted living communities and palliative, hospice and end-of-life care specific to persons with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). She is an NIA Center on Aging and Serious Illness Dementia Palliative Care Clinical Trial Scholar Cohort One and is a GSA Fellow and Past Chair of the Social Research Policy and Practice Section.
