Alexis R. Santos is an applied demographer and population health scientist. The interdisciplinary nature of Demography has allowed him to pursue research in social and health sciences. After my PhD and prior to joining Penn State, I served as Demography/Biostatistics Research Fellow funded by The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE). His formal academic training includes degrees in Economics and courses in advance statistics/data sciences.
