Dana Ketcher (she/they) is a white, queer woman of settler ancestry, mainly Sicilian, German, and English. They joined Memory Keepers Medical Discovery Team (MK-MDT) at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth campus in September 2021. She received her PhD (Applied Medical Anthropology, 2019) and MPH (Global Communicable Disease, 2011) from the University of South Florida. She completed a two-year, NIH-funded postdoctoral training in behavioral oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida in 2021. Dr. Ketcher works with the Executive Director, Dr. Jacklin, to address high-level administrative and research tasks across all MK-MDT projects and cores. She also works on the NIH/NIA funded Indigenous Cultural Understandings of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias-Research and Engagement (ICARE) R01 project and provides support for the International Indigenous Dementia Research Network (IIDRN).
