Dr. Jong-Sung Yoon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of South Dakota, specializing in expertise development and cognitive aging. His research interests include designing training activities and technology-based interventions aimed at helping older adults maintain independence despite age-related perceptual and cognitive changes. Dr. Yoon earned his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Florida State University (FSU) and an M.A. in Cognitive Science from Yonsei University in Korea. He also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at FSU’s Institute for Successful Longevity (ISL) as a member of the Center for Research and Education on Aging and Technology Enhancement (CREATE).
