Dr. Shinae L. Choi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Consumer Sciences at The University of Alabama. Professor Choi's research interests center on health and economic disparities, the cultural dynamics of financial and healthcare decision-making of families and consumers, emotional and financial well-being, and public policy evaluation. Professor Choi received her Ph.D. in Consumer Science from Seoul National University, South Korea. Professor Choi is Associate Editor of the Financial Services Review and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Consumer Affairs.
