Courtney A. Polenick, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan and a Faculty Associate in the Aging & Biopsychosocial Innovations Program of the Survey Research Center at the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research. Dr. Polenick’s research focuses on family relationships and caregiving in the context of complex care needs including dementia and multimorbidity. She is particularly interested in understanding family influences in everyday life that inform strategies to improve the well-being of people living with dementia and their care partners.
