Dr. Tamar Shovali (she/her/hers) is an Associate Professor of Human Development at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. She completed her PhD in Lifespan Developmental Psychology from the Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia and Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the Institute of Gerontology in the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia. Her areas of research are grandparents raising grandchildren and high impact, intergenerational gerontological pedagogy in higher education.
