Dr. Alyssa Gamaldo is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Clemson University and affiliated with the Institute for Engaged Aging. Her current research concentrates on social determinants of health and well-being within older adult populations as well as identifying sensitive measures for detecting early indication of health risks. She is particularly interested in understanding racial/ethnic and socioeconomic differences in health and well-being.
