Dr. Kim Curyto is a clinical psychologist in the VA Western New York Community Living Center (CLC) and implementation scientist affiliated with the Center for Integrated Healthcare. She is an implementation and evaluation partner with Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. She has clinical, implementation, and research expertise in team-based behavioral health interventions in long-term care and dementia care. She has served as interventionist, implementation facilitator and evaluator of STAR-VA, an evidence-based, team-based intervention to manage distress behaviors in dementia in CLC Veterans. She has served as local champion, implementation facilitator, and evaluator of Montessori approaches for person centered care (MAP-VA).
