Melissa Powers, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Dr. Virginia Peters Department of Kinesiology & Health Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma. She teaches courses on aging, physical activity promotion, fitness assessment, and exercise prescription. At UCO, Melissa serves as the chair of the Institutional Review Board and the campus labyrinth coordinator. She recently led the campus-wide effort for UCO to join the Age-Friendly University Global network.
