University of Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States
I am a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. My research interests encompass health and place, social determinants of health across the lifespan, cognitive aging, and the role of modifiable cardiometabolic risk factors in supporting healthy cognitive aging. In my doctoral study, I am particularly interested in understanding the role of cumulative residential exposure to evolving socioeconomic environments and its association with the cognitive health of older adults. My research integrates methods of multilevel modeling and mediation analysis, leveraging geospatial data from cohort residential histories, historical censuses, and other contextual data sources from nationally representative cohorts of older adults, such as the Health and Retirement Study.
