Dr. Khalighi is the director of the preoperative medicine clinic at the Department of Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care Systems and a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle.  Her practice is focused on preoperative medicine consultation. Her research interests are preoperative optimization of frailty, sleep related breathing disorders, Parkinson's disease, and diabetes mellitus.
