Melissa Cannon is an Associate Professor of Gerontology at Western Oregon University. She specializes in environmental gerontology and teaches undergraduate courses focused on healthy aging, housing and long-term care, Alzheimer's Disease, and career readiness. Her research interests include age-friendly environments, community partnerships, and policies and programs that help create healthy, inclusive communities for people across the life course.
