Dr. Shekhar Chauhan holds a PhD in Population Studies from International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai, India. He has substantially explored various aging issues including mental health, chronic conditions, self-rated health, multimorbidity, and functional limitations. He worked as a Senior Project Officer for the Longitudinal Ageing Study in India (LASI) survey. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the Claude Pepper Center, Florida State university.
