Laci Cornelison, MS, LBSW, AHCA, is the interim Director for the Kansas State University Center on Aging. Growing up in the nursing home where her mom worked, Laci Cornelison was a gerontologist from the start. Those years of hanging out with older adults while her mom said to "keep busy" turned into her passion. Now she holds the official credentials of a gerontologist along with a long-term care administration and social work license. Laci's research interests are in person-centered care, organizational change, and sexuality and aging. Laci’s experience has included direct leadership and clinical practice in an innovative person-centered care home, college instruction on aging, program leadership with the Kansas PEAK program, and research.
