Michin Hong, PhD, MSW, is an Associate Professor at the Indiana University School of Social Work. Her research focuses on long-term care needs and arrangements for older adults, including family caregiving, home and community-based services, and end-of-life care. In particular, she has been intensively examining modifiable factors affecting access to health and healthcare among ethno-racial minority older adults and their caregivers. She is currently working on interdisciplinary projects with librarians and computer scientists to promote equity in healthcare.
