Becky's research focuses on the role of seniors centres in promoting the health and wellbeing of older people in Canada. She is a PhD candidate in Gerontology at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada, and holds a Masters in Public Health. Prior to entering academia, she spent over a decade working in health and social care services management in the UK and USA where she developed an interest in community-based approaches to supporting healthy aging.
