Yanjing Liang received her BSN and MSN from China, now she is a second-year PhD student in Nursing Science at the University of Washington and a predoctoral scholar at the de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging. Her research centers on aging-related healthcare issues, a field she was drawn to through personal experiences with helping clients managing chronic illnesses. Yanjing speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, bringing a valuable multicultural perspective to her work. She is dedicated to conducting acculturation-related research within Chinese American populations. Through her research, she aims to contribute meaningfully to the understanding and improvement of healthcare practices for aging populations to advance healthy aging practices in nursing​.
