I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Section on Gerontology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, a Wake Forest Claude D. Pepper Scholar, the Director of the Core for Cellular Respirometry, and acting co-leader of the Pepper Center's Integrative Biology Core. My research focus is age-related mitochondrial dysfunction and its effect on muscle and immune function.
