Dr. Nadorff obtained her Ph.D. in Lifespan Developmental Psychology from West Virginia University in 2011, and is now an Associate Professor in the Clinical Psychology program of Mississippi State University. Her program of research is primarily focused on custodial grandchildren (children whose primary caregivers are their grandparents) and their grandparents. In particular, she investigates the physical, social, mental, emotional, and behavioral outcomes for these kincare families, as well as examining how they compare to those in foster care. More broadly, she also has interest in depressive symptoms, stress, and coping on both ends of the lifespan: both early childhood and late life.
