As a dedicated researcher with professional practice experience in social work, my research broadly centers on "Aging in Community" to understand how socioeconomically vulnerable older adults can lead active, healthy, and productive lives within their communities. Specifically, I examine (1) to what extent modifications in housing and neighborhood environments facilitate participation in social, productive, and civic activities in later life and (2) whether such participation is associated with individual and community health outcomes.
