Kushang Patel, PhD, MPH, FGSA (he/him/his)

Kushang Patel is Research Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, Adjunct Research Professor of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine, and Deputy Director of the Harborview Injury Prevention and Research Center at the University of Washington. His research investigates the implementation and effectiveness of interventions that aim to improve pain management and reduce risk of fall-related injury in different community and healthcare settings. In addition, he conducts community-engaged and population-based research to investigate pain, aging, and health and rehabilitation services use.
