Basia Belza has a sustained record of scholarly activity directed toward improving the health of older adults through research, including the use of research results in practice. Her focus is on physical activity interventions and cognitive health. She is committed to improving our translational efforts in the dissemination and implementation of evidence- and community-based health promotion programs. She mentors students, post-doctoral fellows, and early career faculty who will be the next generation of change agents creating policies, environments, and evidence-based practices supporting older adults to live their best lives.
