Jen Pettis is the Director of Strategic Alliances at the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). At GSA, Jen directs the development and production of Strategic Alliances programs to further the Society’s mission and strategic goals. Her responsibilities include providing thought leadership to drive growth and new opportunities involving existing or potential new partners for the Strategic Alliances Division of the Society; developing and managing key relationships and alliances; and representing the Society at strategic partner meetings, professional conferences, and meetings with communities of interest. During her over 30-year career as a registered nurse, Jen’s work has focused on improving the lives of older adults. She has provided direct care to older adults, led interdisciplinary care teams, educated others to improve care and services for older adults, conducted health policy research, and advocated for policies to enhance the lives of us all as we age.
