Ann Arbor, Maryland, United States
I am an assistant professor at the University of Michigan School of Kinesiology and a 2024 Michigan Program for Advancing Cultural Transformation (M-PACT) Scholar. My primary research goal is to promote fair and inclusive environments that enhance the lives of older adults who are aging with or into disability. My research focuses on understanding how social and environmental factors impact mobility, disability, and health.
Currently, my research is centered on two areas:
(1) Investigating how neighborhood environments affect mobility in real-world settings.
(2) Assessing factors in the transportation environment that influence physical activity and participation.
