Karin Wolf-Ostermann is full Professor at the University Bremen and is the head of the department “Health Services and Nursing Science Research” at the Institute of Public Health and Nursing (IPP, https://www.ipp.uni-bremen.de/departments/health-care-research/), co-speaker of the high-profile area “Health Sciences” at the University of Bremen and co-speaker of the research-cluster “Evaluation” at the Leibniz-Science Campus “Digital Public Health”. She is a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and received the Science Award of the Turkish Gerontological Society in 2023 . She serves on several national and international advisory boards concerning care program development and evaluation. She is currently PI of several national and international projects relating to technology, digitalization and artificial intelligence in health care and nursing as well as projects relating to long-term care and especially the care and support of people living with dementia and their formal and informal caregivers.
