Dr. Natalie Baker is a Professor at UAB School of Nursing and maintains a nurse practitioner practice at a rural skilled nursing facility. She is also the Infection Prevention and Control Supervisor of the Alabama Nursing Home and Long-Term Care Facility Strike Team, administered through UAB School of Public Health. Dr. Baker recently completed a nonresidential Health and Aging Policy Fellowship with the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Academy of Nursing. She is an advocate for the rights of vulnerable older adults and champion for change in long-term care facilities.
