I combine teaching with research to work on meaningful projects for my communities. I use large datasets for national, regional and local studies impacting public policy in healthcare, aging, caregiving, dementia, disparities, equity, inequality and intergenerational transfers affecting vulnerable populations. I also utilize qualitative tools such as focus groups to deeply understand my sample. I enjoy working individually and collaboratively with colleagues and students alike.
