Rebecca Mauldin, PhD, LMSW, is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Arlington.
She studies the social relationships of older adults, the factors that support them forming and maintaining positive relationships, and the ways in which their relationships affect their health and wellbeing. Her funded research includes examinations of the social networks among older adults in assisted living, the use of nature-focused livecam broadcasts as a group activity in residential settings, and transportation resources within social networks of older immigrants.
