As a Speech-Language Pathologist and Rehabilitation Scientist, I have over 30 years of clinical experience and implementation of research protocols related to interventions for individuals and families managing neurological illness, including Primary Progressive Aphasia and other frontotemporal neurodegenerative diseases. My passion is investigating and implementing best practices in the use of communication, cognitive and behavioral strategies to maximize independence, maintain life participation and help individuals and caregivers cope with the change in neurodegenerative illness.
